About Me
I’m a passionate advocate for women and youth in the geospatial field. As the co-founder of Geo-Connect and the founder of Ladies in Maps Zimbabwe, I’m dedicated to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the sector. I’m also an enthusiastic OpenStreetMap contributor and mentor to YouthMappers Zimbabwe, empowering individuals to leverage spatial data for positive change.
In addition to my technical expertise, I’m deeply committed to open-source tools and collaborative mapping initiatives. I actively engage in research, advocating for equitable access to geospatial data and its critical role in sustainable development. As the Marketing Manager for the #EveryDoor OSM app, I work to promote innovative applications of geospatial technology, including data collection and visualization for climate resilience.
Mentorship and lifelong learning are close to my heart. I take pride in supporting and guiding aspiring geospatial professionals, helping them thrive in their journeys. Outside of work, I enjoy baking, writing poetry, and exploring the world through travel.
